Times Union News: Civil War conference at Siena this weekend

COLONIE — The Capital District Civil War Round Table is joining the history department at Siena College to present a conference commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War at the Loudonville campus this weekend.

Titled “1862 — A Year of Battles,” it kicks off with a dinner and keynote address Friday night by Chris Kolakowski, a member of the local round table, author of Civil War articles and former staff member at Perryville Battlefield.
