Gavin Dougherty ’85 has written a new book called Alzheimer’s Moments: Memories From A Caregiver’s Diary documenting his return home to upstate N.Y. to watch over his mother suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. It documents her life, particularly those poignant and humorous experiences that occurred along the way, and the daily ups and downs of being a primary caregiver.
